I'm Lovin'it

Oh yeah.. I'm really loving it! I'm hitting baby and I'm playing fine!

Well, it looks like I'm on a streak. I have been cashing out an average of 350% of my buy in in the last 4 or 5 consecutive cash games.

Luck or skill?

This is debatable. Alot. I mean, luck does play a very important role in any game of poker. A lucky night might give you several winning AA, KK, AK, hands. Might also give you 7 2 and you still hit a two sevens on the flop. True, luck is crucial.

But lets face it. My friends have been complaining I am being too lucky. I don't agree. All I have been doing the last couple of weeks was maximising my profits.

I have seen several players loosing with 'lucky' hands like AA. Either because they limp, they mis-trap or mis-read. They give a chance to another player to eat their chip stack with a lower ranked hand. And that's what I have been doing.
Watching and eating chips. Hitting and maximising. Trapping, bluffing and intimidating.

I have to say, that is some skill. I feel I have improved my game, much more than I have improved my winnings.

Seriously, practice makes perfect.
